About Lynn Bromley
“I came to FinTech in a roundabout way. I have spent much of my career in economic development – specifically SME enablement. There is broad agreement that small business (those with fewer than 500 employees) is the lifeblood of the US economy and it’s where most innovation happens yet SME’s are not adequately served by traditional financial services. At the Fintech Advocate, we focus on fintech firms, as they are providing digital solutions to the long-standing problems that traditional financial service models have neglected or abandoned.”
Lynn was named one of the 2017 Power Women in Fintech by InnovateFinance (London). She has authored a chapter in the upcoming The RegTech Book (2018) on the status of regulation of financial services in the US and an approach to a remedy.
While maintaining a consistent and clear awareness of the Big Picture as it relates to the entire industry, Lynn focuses on accurately defining the trends which are setting the pace. Her love of creative problem-solving is on constant display as she invites creativity into the discussion while always keeping an eye on today's reality.
Lynn's extensive experience and tenure in government coupled with her economic development and advocacy has made her a career "Dot Connector". She understands that the future belongs to the collaborators, and has thus sustained her credibility and value within her deep and wide network.
